Family Fun Day
For those that did not attend, you missed a great day. About 60 club members braved the weather and came out for this event. The food brought by each member was fantastic and no one left the event hungry. During the day, several demos were put on by club members and were well received by the attendees. Russ Tuten put on a silhouette match demo, Mike Steinel displayed his competition rim fire and air rifles, Sean Parks helped the youngsters shoot up their pumpkins and the cowboy crew put on a demo of the sport. The Family Fun Day committee thanks everyone for the great food and demos and for coming out to this event. This event will be held again next year so plan on attending. You won't be disappointed.

Cowboy Match
The cowboys had about 8 shooters for their match last month. If you haven't attended one of their matches, make plans to attend one next year. The shooters dress in period costume and shoot 1800's style firearms in this exciting scenario based sport. Check out the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) website at www.sassnet.com for info on this sport then go out and see it in action.

Historical Military Gun Match
Better know around the club as the machine gun match, this event saw the demise of several vehicles, appliances and an outhouse. From witness reports, the outhouse went out with a spectacular bang. One well placed shot turned it into kindling and sent the mannequin that was in it into orbit. About 110 people came out to see this and we don't think anyone thought they didn't get their money's worth.
