Women On Target® Instructional Shooting Clinics create more opportunities for women to learn all about firearms, and to gain confidence in newly-acquired shooting skills.

Learn safe firearms handling
Learn how to store your firearms safely
Learn to shoot
Learn a sport you'll enjoy for a lifetime

This clinic is for the ladies only, and each shooting station has at least one safety officer who be working with you only through that stage. At our Women on Target clinics, participants shoot rifles, pistols, and shotguns. Some of the guns were .22 caliber and larger rifles, 12 and 20 gauge shotguns, and 9mm, .40 caliber, and .45 caliber handguns.

For the past six years, the Fort Harmar Rifle Club has received grants funded by The Friends of the NRA. That has helped us keep the costs low.

The next Women on Target Handgun clinic will be held on Sept. 16, 2017 and the next Rifle/Shotgun clinic will be held on Oct. 7, 2017. Applications can be downloaded from the links on this page. As that date approaches, we will post more information.

Equipment and Guns Needed

At this time, we know of no need for participants to bring anything with them. Please check back as September approaches.
